The guitar is in excellent condition overall with some light aesthetic markings which although noticeable, do not detract from the overall aesthetic of the instrument. The bass when played harshly can rattle at the bridge so in my opinion does suit a lighter playing style.

The setup is adjustable to preference by the new owner. Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height. Height of the string from the 12th Fret- 2.5mm bass 2mm treble Truss Rod & Bridge- Fully Functional and can be adjusted No or little Indentation - Very Light playing wear The rear is in very good condition with any markings well hidden again by the wood type and the finish. The sides show some light indents most notably to the side where the controls are based and lesser so to the opposing side. There appears to be some indents around the treble side cutaway, other markings are well hidden with the finish and wood grain. The wood has the grain and pores visible which make it difficult to distinguish any markings to the neck.īody- The front of the body has some stickers on the guitar which are visible in the listing photos. Neck- The neck is in very good condition offering a smooth playing surface. There is no truss rod cover although this does not affect the instrument function. There is some light marking to the top edge with some light wear to the edges and a scuff marking visible. Headstock- The face and rear of the headstock are in very good condition as are the sides. The 3-band EQ is broad and musical sounding, with each pot resting at unity in its dipped middle position, allowing you to both boost and cut each frequency.Ĭontrols - Volume, pickup blend, 3-band active EQ The active/passive switch allows you to take the active EQ out of the circuit when a more traditional passive tone is required. The Bartolini pickups have a rich and powerful low end, punchy mids and articulate highs. The frets have plenty of life left in them and the Hipshot hardware feels rock solid. The dual cutaways along with the contoured neck heel provide unobstructed access right up to the 24th fret. The satin finish neck plays well, with its shallow ‘C’ profile feeling smooth and comfortable in the hand. Built in 2005 this bass features 24 frets, Hipshot open gear machine heads, along with a pair of Bartolini MK1 pickups, wired to a master volume, pickup blend pot, and a 3-band active EQ. Here for sale we have a Cort A4 bass guitar in natural finish.
